My brother has an F1 visa and he's currently in the US. His I-20 was expired for the second time. First time was because he didn't send the Financial guarantee before the deadline. The second time his I-20 was expired because the school didn't get his signature even though the bank statement was accepted. He got admission from another school before his I-20 expired and was planning to transfer to it.
My question is Does he need a new visa? The new school will give him a new I-20 next week.
Or is it okay if he just left the US and then come back with the new i20 and pays the sevis
