Hi Gurus,
My naturalization interview for the N-400 form was scheduled in January. When I went to the office in San Jose, I was left for 90 minutes only to be told that the interview has been cancelled and that I will be getting a new appointment. It's been close to to 3 months now and nothing.
I understand this is most likely a security or a name check with the FBI. I come from an Arab and Muslim country where they normally place nationals of those countries into extra checks. Has anyone had the same experience?
Any suggested course of action? The usual route has been absolutely unhelpful (Senators, Congressmen, Ombudsman, head of filed office - all been unhelpful). I'd appreciate any advice.
Any legal action?
