Hi, I am living in Fresno, CA and passed my citizenship interview but couldn't change my name because they said they don't have authority to change name legally and I have to go to the court 
According to "A Guide to Naturalization", it says, the other way I can change my name is to attend a judicial ceremony is held by in Court. I found that Fresno has a judicial ceremony one per month, administrative ceremony 4 times per month.
I already got scheduled for the ceremony next week, but I am not sure if it is a judicial or not.
Has anyone changed your name at the Oath ceremony?
Is this a good way to return my appointment letter with explanation that I want to attend a judicial ceremony because of name change?
