N400 application and a 240(A)

I am looking to apply for Naturalization, but will have to answer question 34 as "YES" for once having received an order of deportation. We were eventually given a 240(A), but I am not clear how to discuss this on the application. Is there any guidance for this anywhere? How to present? Is it just as simple as saying that I appealed to the BIA and a 240(A) was given?

No Felony issues or any other crimes on my record.

Have you even read the application form N-400? It is there from Question 33 to Question 36. You have to mark YES and have the immigration court documents i.e 240(a) and disposition documents..
