my wife applied for citizenship in June 2016, fingerprinting was done in July. we are still waiting for interview letter, on the website it says 5 months, does this mean 5 months for the whole process after the application was received,.

Does anyone else have any experiences through california office? any idea how long will it take to get the interview scheduled?
 
Yep, we got interview letter for End of Jan (filed in June), they are taking 7/8 months just for the interview. Not sure how long will it take for oath.
