I am a US citizen. I got the citizenship 2 years ago. Im immigrating my mom over. She got visa interview on 2/26/2014 and she got denied. They said under section 221g i need to provide more documents to them such as I864a and I 864. Because i dont have enough income so my aunt is the joint sponsor. Also, my aunts letter explaining the relationship between me and mom. I did everything and sent it back to the embassy. I was wondering What is the next step for this process? Will i need to schedule another interview for my mom? or how does it work?? Im from vietnam by the way.
