Schedule of events for Green Card from H1B
I would appreciate if someone can help me to get the following guideline.
Currently on H1B - till Nov 2007 - Changed from TN ( Canadian) Visa
Applying for Lab Cer - PERM in Jun 05 - expect to get approval in Jun 05.
Can I apply for 1-140 & 1-485 simultaneously in Jul 2005 or I have to wait for some other process? If we can apply for I-140 & I -485 in Jul 05 - then when can I expect to get approval and when can I expect green card? I am not very clear about these stages. I have to decide about changing employer now or later depending on the time framework.
Please assist.
