Anybody knows what happens when you move to the new state(different asylum office area). Does moving affect the timeline a lot? Postpone the interview date more than a year or less?
i moved from the state to another with different asylum office . i applied in October 2013 in Chicago office moved to California and transfer my case in sept 2014 and still have not received an interview notice , i dont know if this is because i moved or the process is generally slow . but my advice is do not move until you receive your EAD . moving might be considered a delay on your part and the 180 days EAD clock might stop .
