Hi all,
I work remotely and my PERM process was started while living here in NY state.
My company's immigration attorney is saying that I cannot move states, and that doing so will cause the entire GC process to have to start over. I understand that this is due to the Prevailing Wage determination being location-specific, but there could be another reason I'm unaware of.
My current L-1B visa runs out at the end of 2017 so I cannot afford to start over at this point.
Hoping that someone can address my specific situation, because I'm finding different answers to similar questions online.
Thanks!
