Medical in London today

Hi all,

My wife and I had our medical in London today, all went well however because my wife was a bit nervous the doctor thought she had signs of a heart murmur. We have been asked to verify this with our GP at home, our interview at the Embassy is 2 weeks tomorrow, do you know what happens if we don't have the medical issue resolved by then?

Thanks,

Chris

Heart murmur is not a disqualification afaik. It's communicable diseases they're worried about. However the doctor - being a doctor - has an ethical duty to follow up on suspected medical issues even if they won't cause a problem for the visa.

In general if there is an outstanding medical issue at the time of interview, you'll be placed on AP until it's resolved.
