Hi,
I am planning to land in Canada by driving a rental car from Philadelphia to Ottawa. I also need to get my H1 b stamped. Currently I have no visa and my F1 expired and I am on H1B and will need to get stamped for the 1st time.
Please let me know if I can just cross border anywhere or are there any specific points and timings as to where to cross the border.
I will carry with me my passport, landing document, list of items typed that I own here in US, proof of funds and my certificates.
Anybody faced any issues in this, please let me know. I plan to return back in 5 days.
Any more important points are highly appreciated.
