Due to the tough situation in the market, I was laid off about 4 months ago. Didnt find any employer who cud transfer my visa. I then came on Dependent Visa. Now I have a full time job offer, can I transfer my H1B?
Your new employer can file a new petition not subject to the quota. You may not work until approval notice and I-94 are received. This may require you to exit and reentry on H1B stamping or may be a COS.
