laid off, change to F1 and change back to H1

Hi,

I have a couple of interviews lined up. If I get a job, and my employer is willing to sponsor my H1B, what would I need to do? Do I have to wait till my F1 status is approved (current wait time is 2.5 months)? Can I cancel the change of status application (H1B to F1) and apply for H1B? Or can I just go ahead and apply for H1B with the new employer, while the change of status application to F1 is being processed? Do I need extra paperwork in addition to the I129?

Please advise I would really appreciate a reply ASAP.

Regards

If you applied for F1, you have a university admission. You are morally obligated to attend. This was not just a temporary parking spot until you got a new job. YOU HAVE DENIED A LEGITIMATE STUDENT AN OPPORTUNITY. I hope this follows you so that you have problems at GC time.
