L1 and H4 visas at one time.

Hi

My company is applying L1 visa for me. AT the same time I want to apply H4 dependent visa in case I need to travel with my spouse to US before my company gives a project.

Can I get approval for both L1 visa as well as H4 dependent visa at one time.
