Hi everyone. Iam on J1 visa and I recently for all my three waivers from India (from passport office it directly went to USCIS). I've send the other two waiver forms to USCIS to get final waiver approval.
I am planning to file for I-140. It will take atleast 3-4 months to prepare all the necessary documents.
My question is, if I get my J1-waiver from USCIS (after sendng the two waivers I received from India)...is there any time limit within which I should file my I-140?
I don't want to convert to H1-visa, but directly go for I-140.
If anyone knows about it clearly, please reply to my query. I appreciate your help.
