I was recently offered a Post Doc in CC.I finished my PhD and MS from US and I am right now on OPT (Indian Citizen).My employer said they can process J1 or H1B(non profit),But since my Spuse gets a work authorisation on J2 I was keen on taking up a J1.Do you think it will be hard to get a HRR waiver on J1 ?My fellowship doesnt come with a HRR but I have been told that Most Indians will have to get a HRR waiver as Biomedical Engineering also comes under the skills category.Please help.
