My sister wants to apply a US visitor visa to visit me and my family. I think she and her husband have a pretty good chance of getting it as they are leaving their three kids behind. They want an invitation letter from me. My problem is although I am a US citizen for the last 7 years, I came to this country illegally and along the way applied in the amnesty program of 1980's.
My question is, will my invitation letter ruin their chances of gettinga a visa.?Did anyone encounter a problem like this. My father who is here with me can send an invitation letter too but he has no income/job.
does anyone has an idea of who should send a letter
