I'm engaged to an illegal alien. We plan to return to his country to visa process. I need to know which method is best...K1, K3 or should we try for CR1 (IR). We met in the US 4 years ago and I don't want him to be penalized for remaining in the US for so long illegally. I don't want to start this process only to be denied. We are truly afraid but are willing to be separated during his visa processing time. I'm thinking the US Embassy will not take too kindly to an illegal alien trying to return legally. Thank you so much...I'm at my wits end.
