Hello,

I gave my TN visa card at the PearsonAirport to Canadian Immigration Officer, was that right?

Please let me know, if I did the right thing.

thanks.

Provided you have a copy of that I-94 on you, or if you are never coming back on TN, Or, if your current TN nearing expiry, and you are going to apply for a new one whenyou re-enter US, then you are fine.:)

If, however, you are returning to US on that TN, and you don't have a copy of the I-94, how exactly were you going to prove you were eligible for TN?

Hi Nelsona

Hi Nelsona,

I appreciate your help!

I finished contract with that particular company who sponsored TN, and I thought I should return that TN (I-94 Card ). So I gave it to the Immigration Officer (Canadian Officer) at the Airport while I am coming to Canada.

Now I do not have any plans of traveling with that TN.
So, I will be fine.. correct???

If there's anything I could have done with this situation?
Please respond, I appreciate this first time TN confusion.

Is it going to cause any problems for future TNs?

Thanks.

You handled the situation correctly.

But, with your future 3-year TN, always keep the I-94, and make sure you have a copy of it when travelling.
