i-485 processing time for spouse of LPR

Hi -

I'm a green card holder and I'm applying for a green card for my wife. Here's my timeline:

Sep 2016 - i-130 filed (priority date Sep 2016)
Jun 2017 - i-130 approved
Oct 2017 - priority date becomes current; i-485 filed

Our USCIS field office is New York City; the current i-485 processing is as of Aug 2016.

Here's my question: is the as of date for priority date or for i-485 filing date? As in, do I have just a month to wait or almost a year to go? since my priority date is almost current but my filing date is a year later.

Please share your experience. The approval timing is essential for my wife's school/job applications.
 
The "Final Action Date" for F2A is currently only available for priority dates before Oct 2015. It will take approximately 1 year before the Final Action Date for F2A reaches your priority date. Your I-485 cannot be approved before then.
 
if you've already filed 485, did you also file the I131/I765 with it? the I485 work permit should allow your wife to work or go to school.
