Hubby is applying for citizenship and has a two-part problem having to do with children:
He has an ex with whom He he has a child (paternitity is is question).
She later adopted an unrelated child . The children were born in Russia, but he took her to his home country to get her away from a bad life. She left him and went back to Russia and he has no contact with her or the children and doesn't know where they are located.
1) He is not listed on either birth certificate. The father is listed an unknown on both. He doesn't know where they are and has no way to get birth certificates. Will this hurt him on the "moral character" issue as he has never paid child support?
2) The divorce papers list the wrong child as his, so he continued listing the wrong one for purposes of consistency. Not sure how or even if we can/should correct this.
