New H1-B and H1-B extension: Confusion

Hi Group,

I would really appreciate if someone can clarify this:

Someone told me that TSC is handling H1-B extension cases seperately from new H1-B cases. That is why extension cases filed in 3rd week of October 2002 have not been approved yet where as some new H1-B cases filed in 1st/2nd week of December 2002 have already been approved.

Is this the case? Can anyboby check this with his/her attorney and let the others know? Your help will really be appreciated.

TSC moving ahead ...

Guys,

Good news. There is some movement in TSC with H1 extension cases.

An H1 Extension case received by the TSC on 15th NOV 2002 was approved on 16th MAY 2003.

Iam doing an H1 transfer

RD : 11/05/02

I havent received approval still how do they consider H1 transfers do they consider them as new or H1 extension

TSC is now processing H1 cases received on or before 11/20/2002.

Anybody, who recently got his/her H1-B1 (Extension) approved from TSC, please post the dates. Thanks.

I think TSC is processing EOS and COS applications seperately. I saw a post in the 1st or 2nd week of may stating that the application for a new H1 with RD 12/05/02 was approved. Though TSC doesnt state different dates for EOS and COS, I strongly believe that they do process them seperately.
 
H1-B1 7th Year Extension - Approved

Hi All,

TSC has approved my 7th year H1-B1 extension case.

RD : 12/10/2002
AD : 05/28/2003

I checked my case status "online" on the BCIS website, today.

My good wishes to everyone who are waiting for their H1-B1 approval.
