Hi,
After my visa expiration I kept mainatining my status through my I-20 which ended 67 days ago and could not renew it because of Academic disqualification. I am working on having this disqualification removed right now. However, my SEVIS record got terminated 7 days ago and I need to know,
0) Am I illegal resident right now?? and if not..
1) How much time I have to fix this situation before I become illegal by any means? and if fixable...
2) What options I have to deal with this situation?? I read on government website that if the visa and SEVIS both are expired the student should avoid leaving the country (USA) before fixing the SEVIS record

3) How much this will affect my chance to apply for a green card (or work permit) in the future??
