Health Insurance for parents

Hi,

My parents are visiting me from India this Summer for a period of
three months. I am an H1 B holder in the US.

Could someone please advise me on getting health insurance for them
in the US. I\'ve heard health Insurance from India is unreliable.
I am hoping to find something like an HMO plan where I don\'t have to
pay the medical expenses upfront and claim a reimbursement later.

Thanks,
CD

India Network Medical Insurace is a reliable and good insurance which you can take here in US. This is part of AIG insurance group. They also market themselves as BlackStone Insurance company. My mother was addmited to the hospital and they took the insurance without any problem (no downpayments etc).

All the best

could you tell us whom to contact to get the information? Also, is it expensive?

Its not expensive. If your parents are older than 70 years, I believe they dont cover. If they are younger than 70, they have different age bracket rates. 65-69 years will cost about $125 a month. Again you have a choice of different benifits you can take to reduce this cost.
Best place to find out is go to the web site and check it out instead of posting too many questions and not being clear of your answers.
