H1B Job Transfer while Taking a Month Long Vacation outside US

If I quit my job at company A, and start a new job with company B.

1. Can I leave US right after B has filed a petition for me, or I must wait until the transfer is approved.
2. If everything goes well, can I leave US for 1+ month, and come back with a valid h1b status? Will there be any problems?
