Hi my cousin win India applied for H1b , thru consultants in US, this April and and was selected in H1-visa lottery and his Consultants have recieved a Receipt notice dated May 3rd. ( we recieved copy of it recently). When we checked the receipt , Last name was misspelt and immediately reported it to the consultants and they said their Lawyers have contacted USCIS for the Correction of name
The USCIS case status online shows his a I-129 application has been approved on May 21st and has been on the same day. But till now according to the Consultants they have not recieved any approval letter yet. Now my question is
1. How many of you are still waiting for your H1 approval notice ?
2. If not does some body have any idea how soon USCIS will be sending those notices.
3. How easy is it to Correct a name on the Approval notice.
I will greatly appreciate if any one can answer this questions
