I was working with client A in 2015-2016. At that point my employer filed an amendment. By end of 2016 my H1B was due for renewal. At which point I also switched projects to client B. So my H1B was filed with client letter from client B's location and it got approved. Now I am going back to client A for better rates. Both are apart by just under 30 miles.
1) Do I need to file an amendment with client A's location? Or could I use the amendment from 2015? My employer says I could use the previous amendment as it is valid for 3 years and just file LCA alone?
2) My employer says there's no need for amendment if the locations are under 30 miles apart. This contradicts my understanding, but is this true?
