Hi ,

Anyone please reply ASAP
I have my valid visa until end of 2008.
I recently changed my company and got my new 797.
I am planning to go to India in the month of June.
Do I have to get my passport stamped?
If yes please mention what are the sites I can look for the dates of appointment in Chennai.

Since you changed your company, you must get your new visa stamped when you visit to India here.

If you have a valid H1B visa under company A, and you're planning a trip to India under company B, my experience tells that you dont need to as you're on the same status.Officially your Case number has been moved to the company B, and therefore when your H1B paper is scanned they'd see that you're with company B and not with Company A. Therefore, its not required to get re stamping, unless you want to.
