I am currently employed with company A and got a job offer with company B. I have specified my last date for company A as June 24 per se assuming my start date with company B is June 27. But now I was notified that company B's H1 process might take a week more. So if I stop working at company A on June 24 and have a week gap before reporting to company B. What would happen to my H1-B visa status if there is gap between jobs. Will it affect further H1 extensions , green card ,etc.
