H1-b transfer while the previous employer is waiting for approval

Hi,

I recently changed my job and my current employer has filed for a H1-B transfer. I have the filing receipt with me.


Now, I have a new offer from another company. Can new company file for the H1-B transfer while my transfer is still in process with INS for the current employer ?


I have a h1-B visa stamping on my passport from my prior employer that is valid till September 2003.

Please advise.
