Hi,

I have filed for my I485 through my employer on Dec 15 2001(Notification Date). My Fiancee and I are planning to get married this month. He is a US citizen. Will it be too late to file my GC through my finacee ?
How can I go about this ? Please I need to know ASAP.

Being there. Multiple 485 filing is not permitted. You have to withdraw your employee based 485 in order to file a family based one. However, there is one way to get around, i.e. consular processing. You keep your employee based 485, and file I-130 thru consular processing. At this stage, I don\'t know if it is worth it for you to do anything. Depending on where you live, your 485 should get approved within 2 years which is probably the time frame for consular processing. Of course, if money is not an issue, consular processing can be an insurance.
