Freelancing

Hi All!
I have had my green card for almost 2 years now, I have a regular full time job. I decided to do some side gigs with Amazon Flex. Is there anything I need to be aware of regarding this kind of a freelance job from formal perspective?
I mean something similar like making sure we fill out the I-9 for an employment correctly to avoid problems once it comes to naturilaztion.
Is there anything similar here?
I only had to fill out a W9 where I had only one option to tick - U.S. citizen or resident alien which I selected.

I-9 is only filled out by employees. They only give independent contractors a W-9, which is what you got.

(Also, even if you didn't fill out an I-9 as an employee, that would be the employer's problem, not yours. There would not be legal or immigration consequences for you, since you are authorized to work.)
