Hello Forum,
My I-130 was filed November 14th, and I have yet to hear anything but that it was transferred to a "local" office.
My spouse, at the moment, has an approved U-Visa though the U-Visa queue was filled last year - so must wait until October this year for it to be fulfilled. That said received temp work authorization (so now a license & SS).
Should I schedule an InfoPass to figure out what is taking so long? My lawyer wants to charge me $250 to find out info (he did call and got no further info & he has been honest & pretty low rate - do not want to disparage him - simply do not want t0 pay $250 more if I can do this myself).
Any info is appreciated - this was filed in Los Angeles, CA in November, 2014.
