(for those of you abroad)129F+I-130 does anyone know how this works?

Forget my other post (for those of you that read it), the processing for the I-130 I submitted last September is being done here in Manila, thank God! Checked on the status of our case and I've been told we'll be receiving a Notice of Action soon. So that is definitely good news.

Being abroad and wanting to spare the heartache, I was wondering - after receiving the Notice of Action (from the I-130) , one can file the I-29F so that both the petitioner and the beneficiary can go the US (rather than the petitioner, being me, a citizen , going ahead) TOGETHER.

1) Suppose this is an option for me, how long does it take to get the I-29F approved?

2) Does anyone have any clue as to how this works? Have any of you done this?
