I am a US citizen and am filing I-130 (Petition for alien relative) and I-485 (Adjustment Status) both at the same time for my wife.

I am confused as to who signs which form.

Should I sign I-130 since I am filing petition for an alien relative and my wife would sign the I-485 as SHE is the one applying for adjustment of her status.

I'd appreciate if someone can clarify this up. And if you have gone through this process then How long does the whole process take?

Petitioner signs I-130, beneficiary(the applicant for green card) signs I-485.

From the instructions for I-130:
A citizen or lawful permanent resident of the United States may file this form with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) to establish the existence of a relationship to certain alien relatives who wish to immigrate to the United States.

From the instructions for I-485:
This form is used by a person who is in Unites States to apply to U.S. CItizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) to adjust to permanent resident status or register for permanent residence.
