My father obtained permanent residence in US as a benefeciary of FAMILY-SPONSORED Immigrant visa 203(a)(4)Brother/Sister F4-1 classification application, filed by his brother. Now, around 6 years later, my mother and younger brother(less than 21 year old) wish to come to US as "follow to join" my father. American embassy abroad has called my mother and brother for Immigrant Visa interview next month. Can I(a US legal permanent resident) furnish the sponsorship (I-864) documents for my mother and brother, even though my dad's brother is the original petitioner on the application? The original petitioner is alive and financially able, but unwilling to provide the I-864. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
