I am going to join school for a Ph.D. in USA from Fall 2011 in F1 Visa. In such case, I may being this process by early May 2011.
However, I would like to try EB1-a (as I have extensive research experience in a established research lab in US) prior to that (in premium processing). If my EB1-a is denied or put in to RFE category by May, then if I apply for F1 at that time, is that a problem since USCIS knows about my intent to stay in USA? In such case, I would avoid applying for EB1-a. Kindly advice.
