Error in name - impact on visa issuance

My employer made a clerical error while filing for my H1B1. I do not have any middle name. In the application my employer put a N. in place of the middle initial. I need to go out of the US for an urgent trip and noone has taken any steps to correct the error so far despite reminders from me various times. Please advise me on the implications of this error in terms of applying for the H1B1 visa at a US Embassy or Consulate since I need to get my visa stamped while returning? This is going to be my first H1B since I was previously on an F1 visa.

H1 Name Spelled Incorrectly

Hi,

I am in same boat. My H1 got approved. My first name is long. But in H1 they did mistake and there is additional space in first name.

Will that be a problem in future when I go for visa?
I have had my company appy for correction inname but I have not hear back.

Following problems potentially can happen
- My visa could be rejected, and they may ask proof of new name
- May hinder in getting green card, in case I get visa, i will have 2 visa with different name
- Name will differ from that in SSN
- Name difference will carry over to License and lot more prolem of identity.

Please advise
