EB2 retrogression

I think both of them can be from your parents (as far as I know the only restriction is that the person should have been at least 10 years of age when you were born and should know you personally). Also the faq from murthy.com says affidavit can come from people knowledgeable of your birth and came from 'including' your parents. This I think implies that your mom/dad can give you separate affidavits - without the need of any more.

Thanks a lot for the info 'why this delay'..( I like your user name :))
I want some clarifications here:
* You mentioned to get Two affidavits on revenue stamped papers from any two persons (including, but not necessarily, from parents) that have knowledge of the birth. These affidavits should be notarized. Can I get these from India without my being there? Coz my parents are in India and they have the birth certificate right now. So can they prepare these affidavits and send them to me?

*Can both of them be from my parents only...mom and Dad? Or it has to be someone other than them too?

thanks a lot
