Dear Friends,
I am wondering if anyone can share his/her experience with me about the processing time to get labor certificate for EB2 category.
I have a PhD degree in engineering from a US university. Currently, I am doing post-doc in a state university. I already have applied for EB2-NIW I140 but haven't heard any news from NSC yet (close to 3 months).
1-Do you think it is a wise decision to apply for labor certificate instead of waiting for NIW? As we all know if I get the labor certificate, the I140 Eb2 processing time can be expediated with this new premium processing.
2- Since i am a post-doc, am I eligible for labor certificate? I have been told that post-doc is a temporary position.
