EAD approval

My status online says the following for EAD:

On July 15, 2003, after approving your application, we ordered a new card. Your card will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready.

Am confused abt it saying "new card" coz this is my first EAD...

Is this the way they usually say it for approval.

Pls respond...

That is the generic message everybody gets don't worry......

Yes, that is just a generic message they post on the online once they approved your EAD, It is going to change to regular approval description once they have your approval copy ready and sent over.

Expect to receive cards in mail in 5-7 business days...
