DOS online status check-up

thanks, I have one more question for you.US Department of State wants my passport copy of pages that my name and birthdate on it.My passport has two different page that my information on it.One is in english ,other one is in my language.Which page should I send to them? And in english page,my birthdate and my name are in different page.I mean, left side has my birthdate and other information and right side has my picture and my name-last name.

It is usually better to send more information than not enough information. I suggest you send both, and let them decide which one to keep.

if I do that, I do not get in trouble, right ? Cuz I believe they will not understand my language. And in english page,my name and my birthdate re on different page. And also there is my picture top of my name

This is the answer of my question from US goverment.

Inquirer,

Thank you for contacting the Student/Exchange Visitor Visa Center.

Your passport would only come in one language. Unless requested, a translation will not be required. Please follow the instructions verbatim.

Hey people,
Finally, I sent my all paper.Hopefuly they will accept them.Expecially I wanna thank to pk_net and other people cuz of helped me.Now, I have two more questions. How can I know they cash my money order and when do they update case system on computer usually? Thanks

You're welcome.
For the payment, you could go to the place you got the money order and ask them. The receipt from the bank contains the serial number of the money order.
For the online status, it could take up to 6 weeks for your case to show up. I would recommend checking it just once a week; otherwise, it's difficult to have a normal life.

WoW ... I sent my papers on 2. of June and they received them yesterday and it shows up on computer. It says Department of State Decision = Pending, Action = Received

Hey all,
Whats the next step after they received my all papers.Dont they move until they get NOS from my home country?

They start processing after they receive ALL required documents. That means the 4-6 week processing time starts after they receive your NOS. Good luck.

Hey All,
finally I got NOS from my embassy. They sent me an email which is included information I got possitive result and they say they sent that to DOS alreayd.Whats the next step and how can I know my status? cuz I believe it takes long time they put all the information my online case status.thnx

hey folk,
Department of State got my NOS on 22. of september but I could not get on next step yet. its almost a month. does anybody have some idea?

do you guys happen to know what "NOT SUBJECT" mean on the DECISION tab in the DOS website. I applied to my waiver and have no idea what this means. Also, trying to figure out what "212(e) finding letter SENT" means? Did I get the waiver?

Hello,
I would like to request help or advise from anyone. My application was submitted to DOS back in August (and all payment, documents, NOC were mailed out at the same time) and until now (more than 2 months later) it still has not been updated on the J1 waiver status update website. The case number simply does not even show up on the website. Public inquiries informed me that sometimes it may take up to 2 months to update their website. I find that unusual. Has anyone else experienced this? Does anyone have a fax number for communication and inquiries?

You asked for a toll free number- to me that means the phone number. The phone number to call the IRS is 1 ( 800) 829-1040.
