Is the J-2 still required to fulfill the 2 year rule home residency requirement if the J-1 has already met the requirement. I have a complicated case. I came on a J-2 visa back in 2000 when I was in 7th grade, my J-1 left the country several times and has already fulfilled the 2 year rule requirement. I on the other hand have not left the country since 2000. I finished college last year and got married to a U.S. citizen and I filled for my green card back in March 2010, I have already done my biometrics and I have also received my EAD card and advance parole documents, my interview is in about a week. Is my application going to be denied because of the 2 year rule agreement. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME!!!!!!
