Does my TN have a good chance of being approved?

I'm a canadian citizen. I graduated from a US university with a BS in Informatics. I have a job offer as a "software engineer" from a US employer. Should I just go with the job offer letter to hopefully get my TN approved? Or should I get letter from a lawyer. In my university's website, this is my degree's description: "Michigan's interdisciplinary approach to teaching Informatics gives you a solid grounding in contemporary computer programming, mathematics, and statistics, combined with study of the ethical and social science aspects of complex information systems."

Thanks

Not a chance. You are not an engineer, and your degree has nothing to do with engineering (your school even admits it).

As to the TN letter: Unless the job offer states a duration, and a TN category, it is not a TN letter. It doesn't have to be written by a lawyer, but it should be a TN letter.
