I am a US Citizen with a K fiancé visa pending. At the time of application, I had been living in temporarily in India with my parents for about an year( for match making purpose )and which was indicated in the application. At the time of interview in the Embassy, they asked us to provide with some extra documentation regarding domicile (bank/phone statements etc.,) which was fulfilled. Now, the Embassy is making a statement for us to get married in India and proceed with an immigrant application which will take a long time. They are also asking me to return to US while giving us the run-a -around and we do not know what to do?
We opted to go the K alien fiancé visa route since it is relatively quicker than spousal visa? Please advise?
