CSC I485 Waiters Tracking the Approvals

Hi Folks,

Iam creating new thread just to track the progress of CSC-485 approvals as I did not find any better tracker here. Please indicate your Id, 485 RD, ND, PD, CSC-TSC Xfer, FP (finger print date) just "similar" to what we have done in 140 forum. Later I will create Excel sheet tracking the progress. Please use the format (below), so that we don't need to ask one another for the same info.

I just wanted to create CSC-485 Tracker and post the scanner results here systematically and regularly as I did in CSC-140 Tracker in other thread. Soon, I will start creating scanner database and run it every day or two and post the results here.

That way, we will have clear view of the trend of 485 Approvals either by looking at my "first message" of this thread, or Excel sheet attached there.

Hi Perm_faq,
Thanks for creating this thread to track 485 issues. I am still waiting for the I 140 approval notice and will post my details right after.
 
No we did not get in touch with any senator. From those who received their approvals, there were some who said writing to senators helped, while some said it did not help. It was more less 50/50 chance. We decided not to contact anyone. Just sent two emails to the CSC regarding name check issue. One was sent last year, which came back saying name check pending, and the other recently came back saying that name check cleared recently (no date was mentioned)

Surprising at it may seem, we received code 1 fingerprint notice just yesterday, and it was scheduled for yesterday itself !! We made it to the office just 5 mins before close. In excitement of fingerprint notice, my wife's notice was left behind in the mail box itself !! And we found it today, just because my son wanted to see the mail box. She will be going on tomorrow for the fingerprinting. I hope they let her in !!

My wife did the code 1 fingerprint today. And my old company through which we did our gc received another copy of I140 approval with the new approval date of May 2006. I140 was already approved in Nov 2004. I am getting the sinking feeling that they will reject I 485 based on the new approval date. AC21 was filed in March 2006 and with this new approval for May 06 it lead to further complications on my case. Thankfully I have a copy of the Nov 2004 approval notice. I am guessing my case will take another year for approval.

Yes, Ray I will get in touch with the senator, if they mess my case.

LUd changed on our 485 cases with the following message:

"This case has been approved. On June 13, 2006, an approval notice was mailed. If 30 days have passed and you have not received this notice, you may wish to verify or update your address. To update your address, please speak to an Immigration Information Officer during business hours."
