I recently received my labor certification after waiting for almost 3 years. During this time, my company was acquired by a big corporation and my company became a wholly owned subsidiary. Even the company's name did not change. It just became X, a Big-Corporation company.
Now that I am filing for my I-140 application, all the financial data that my company needs to provide to the lawyer is the data available for the big company. Will this be a problem? My lawyer said that there was nothing we needed to do about this change since nothing has changed with respect to my job or the kind of work I do. Is this going to be a problem? Will I be able to use the approved labor along with this I-140 succesfully?
