Citizenship for asylee married to a US Citizen

Hi Everyone.
Hoping to get some suggestions/advice here. My wife got her Green Card based on her own Asylum status 3 years ago. I have been a US Citizen for 4 years now (based on Asylum). Now the question is this:
Can she apply for Citizenship, 3 years after getting her GC since she is married to a US Citizen (although her GC was not acquired through marriage to US Citizen). I was told that after you get the GC (based on asylum or any other case), and if you are married to a US Citizen, you become eligible for US Citizenshp after 3 years instead of the regular 5 years. Can someone please comment on this.
Any help will be highly appreciated.

Yes she can apply for citizenship if she is married to you for atleast 3 years (based on your info that you are are citizen for 3 years and your wife has green card for 3 years).

On the filing date of the N-400, three tings have to be met just to file:

3 years marriage and continuing living in marital union all the way through Oath,

3 years citizenship of USC spouse, and

had a greencard at least 2 years and 9 months (allowed to file 3 months early per INA 334(a) only applies to this one thing.)

She must also meet:

physical presence of at least 1.5 years in side U.S.,

residence in the same state for at least 3 months,

"continuous residence" in the U.S. [no really long trips or unauthorized work abroad, or filing taxes as a non-U.S. resident], and

good moral character [no serious criminal convictions or other bad acts...].

Hello my husband got his green card through asylum. But he has been married to us citizen for the last 7 years. can he apply for citizenship after 3 years or he has to wait 5 years please I need help on this as one lawyer said since he didn't get his green card based on marriage he can't apply for citizenship after 3 years please someone help.
