In form M-477 for naturalization documents checklist, page 2

http://www.uscis.gov/files/article/attachments.pdf

it says that, i quote ,

" If you answer “Yes” to any of Questions 1 through 15 in Part 7 of form N-400, send:
A written explanation on a separate sheet of paper.
If you answer “No” to any of Questions 1 through 5 in Part 8 of form N-400, send:
A written explanation on a separate sheet of paper
."

form n400 part 7 does not have 15 questions, what Part 7 is, its time outside the US ( there are no 15 questions - subquestions or whatever) the same goes for Part 8, there are no- 5 questions/subquestions, part 8 is information about your marital history. am i looking at something else ?

Please advise

I will be filing my N 400 soon. Since the checklist is not accurate I guess all I need to send is the N-400 form, 2 passport size photos and copy of my Greencard. I have no provious marriages, never been outside US for more than 6 months and no felony or even misdemenor arrests.

Am I correct

No. Because you forget to send a check of $ 675. Your application will be returned.

If you want to have a smooth process, follow the guidelines laid out by JohnnyCash titled "Documents needed for Naturalization" (It is the 3rd sticky at the top of the US Citizenship forum) . Check out the oldest few posts and you'll have all the information you need.
Start Here

Notwithstanding any issues with the instructions, USCIS is not going to let you naturalize without the complete paperwork (which includes tax transcripts for the last 5 years), so save yourself some trouble and follow JohnnyCash's advice.
(You don't want to get into a '...but your instructions aren't accurate...' argument with your IO. You WILL lose)

Good Luck.
