carry gold to usa

hi every body
my wife left her gold at home intending to come back again after getting her green card but for some reason we decided to let stay at usa with family and i came back home alone , now i going back to to usa willing to take her gold with me , is there any problem to carry gold to usa ?

Well unless it's a massive amount of jewelry it shouldn't be a problem. Just check the requirements in the link I posted above for whether you need to declare it.
